Our Own Voice
The Parent Focus Group of GEMS Our Own English High School, Dubai –‘Our Own Voice’ (OOV) is an active parent-school partnership whose basic mandate is to work collaboratively for the realization of the school’s vision. This body was instituted during the Parent Engagement Week in January 2011. It consists of parents representing a cross – section of all grades and the School Senior Leadership Team.
Parent Focus Group
In response to the need of the hour, at GEMS OOD we constituted a Parent Focus Group (PFG) with the intention to facilitate an easy channel of communication between the school and our parents. Each grade has a PFG group with a parent representative from every section. A virtual meeting is scheduled on the first Saturday of every month and is chaired by the Supervisor of the respective grade.
